Redstone Telecom's management team have a wealth of experience in the telecommunications industry. With the support of the wider Redstone Telecom team they ensure that we provide the highest level of reliability and service to our customers as possible.
The Team
Nick St John, Managing Director
Nick St John brings the experience of a successful 25 year career in international communications to Redstone. He is a specialist in driving business development and growth, having run a number of multimillion pound businesses in the sector successfully.
Nick has held various roles at BT Wholesale and was responsible for BT’s relationship with large overseas telecoms providers. Prior to joining Redstone he also worked for a number of start-ups, including being deputy MD at Telemonde, was regional director of Kingston Communications and at nPower (later sold to Tiscali as part of its telecoms offering) established the utility’s telecoms business from scratch.
St John’s key priorities at Redstone Telecom are to integrate the company’s existing service and solutions portfolio and build an enhanced world class customer service organisation and develop products and solutions in line with customer demand including increasing collaboration and cross selling with other Redstone plc companies, including Redstone Converged Solutions, Redstone Managed Solutions and Redstone Mobile
Jules Radford – Finance Director
Jules Radford joined Redstone Telecom in July 2008 as the Finance Director. Jules trained as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Leicester & London, and following a brief period in transactions services, moved to BT to head up the regulatory finance team, successfully negotiating a number of key products with OFCOM. Jules has held a number of senior finance and operation roles spanning finance, strategic resourcing, transformation change and organisational design within BT and Openreach and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience within the telecoms market.
David Thorn - Indirect Sales Director
As Account Director for Indirect Sales, David is responsible for the management of the Dealer Account Management team, and ultimately for the success and growth of all of Redstone Telecoms indirect sales activity.
Background - Reporting into the MD, David has been at Redstone since 2006. An experienced Senior Manager, David has worked in the Telecoms industry for over 15 years, working in direct and indirect sales in both the Business to Business and Consumer markets at companies such as Mercury Telecoms, Cable &Wireless, NTL, Centrica and OneTel. During that period he has managed and developed a wide range of sales channels and dealer networks.
Mark Casey – Managing Director, Marcom
Marcom Communications managing director. Mark has worked in the communications industry for over twenty years. Qualifying as a telecoms engineer, Mark worked with Cable & Wireless. In that role he specialized in telecommunication systems. Subsequently he graduated to larger projects for corporate clients deploying Plessey and Reuters solutions. In 1992 Mark founded Marcom. He ensured that the company built up a strong relationship with Siemens, culminating in Marcom achieving Siemens Premier Partner status. Mark’s understanding of legacy systems is combined with up-to-date knowledge of leading edge technology. Being formally trained himself, Mark believes that ongoing training is a pre-requisite for success. He now holds qualifications in corporate management.
John Woods – Senior Marketing Manager
John Woods is our Senior Marketing Manager. Reporting into the MD Nick St John he is responsible for all of the marketing activity of the business. John joined Redstone in January 2007 and has been busy since then working on delivering many key projects for the business.
John has a wealth of marketing experience primarily gained in the business to business arena, working in a wide range of industries. Starting his career at Hirefone in 1996 and since then has held a number of roles, Brand Manager at the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Product Manager at Bosch, Marketing Manager at D&B formerly (Dun & Bradstreet) and Marketing Segment Manager at Vodafone. John’s extensive experience is underpinned by a Business degree and an MSc in International Marketing.
